Step-By-Step Tutorial for a Basic Animal

First, inspect the wire first. If there's any exposed wire end, press it down using plier.

1. Make the moru straight and fold it in half

2. Create a circle and interlace it twice to secure the circle shape, The circle diameter should be large enough to fit 1-2 fingers.

3. Bring each end and insert them through the circle.

4. Put a finger where 2 morus are folded and pull out each end.

5. These edges will be two ears. Flip over so the circle part is shown in front.

6. Adjust the height of the ears to the desired length. Shape it and twist both ears to secure the shape

7. Now ears are done. Let’s make the face a little rounder/fatter. Put the finger into the 1st circle we made to make some room

 8. Bring up the right side of moru edge, and wrap around the 1st circle from right to left. Send the moru edge to the back and bring it back to the front between the ears. Now, insert the edge through the room where we have put our finger in.

With the rest of the long moru edge, now wrap around the circle from left to right, send the edge to the back, and bring it front between the ears. Insert it through the same room.

Now the final look should be as below on the right.

10. Shape the face nicely using the benefits of moru wire. Shaping is easy : simply press it or bend it.

11. Arms : bend and fold to make arms about 1-1.5" finished length. Do the same for each side.

12. Legs : Fold across the edge of the moru wire to achieve the desired length (about 1~1.5") of the leg, repeating the process for both sides.

13. From the back side, take out the moru between the neck and shoulder, fold down across to the body, and wrap it around the belly. Shape It overall to complete it.

14. Twist both arms and legs to secure them.

15. Put eyes and nose. Use a craft needle to make space for them. Place them first and then attach them with glue.

16. Brush and trim the fur. If you have these accessories, put a sweater on, tie the ribbon trim and add the ball chain.
